Timeless Elegance Meets Modern Luxury: Gracie + Carson
Gracie and Carson are proof that soulmates do in fact exist. They are also proof that you can never go wrong with a timeless, black and white wedding. Just like this stunning bride and groom, the details of their wedding day are sure to age like a fine wine.
THE FIRST LOOK
The modern and timeless aesthetic of our Groom’s Suite was the perfect backdrop for the sweetest first look with the bride and groom. Our bride, Gracie, was absolutely glowing in her soft glam by Grand Slam Glam that perfectly enhanced all of her natural beauty. She selected a timeless satin wedding gown from Asher Lane Bridal Shop with a sweetheart neckline that featured a beautiful oversized bow on the back for a fun modern touch. Carson sported a classic and sleek tux from The Black Tux Dallas. Even their first look stayed true to the intimate theme for their day. As soon as Gracie walked in, it was as if there was no one else in the room. Molly Murphy Photography and BSR Films perfectly captured the moment and the beauty of the love that G+C share.
THE CEREMONY
G+C’s February nuptials took place in the indoor chapel that featured a candlelit glow from floating candles lining the aisle and a deconstructed arch at the altar created by the talented Arching Blooms. At the entrance to the chapel, guests were able to leave a sweet message for the couple using the Phone Booth Guest Book from The Occasion Society. This was such a unique take on the trending audio guest book. The beautiful phone booth display was a perfect timeless and luxury touch to their ceremony and the placement at the entrance of the chapel ensured that all guests had the opportunity to leave kind words to the newlyweds as they arrived. Their ceremony had an intimate micro-wedding feel as their closest family and friends gathered in our indoor chapel that overlooks a stunning Texas treeline. G+C said I do and shared their first kiss as husband and wife to make it official!
THE RECEPTION
To stay true to the intimate theme of the day, the reception seating was arranged family style and the room was lit only by the array of candles down the center of each table. Styled by Amber Events Co. designed a beautiful tablescape that incorporated black and white timeless pieces, luxurious gold accents, and bow details throughout for an added modern feel that paid homage to the bow on the bride’s beautiful Asher Lane gown. We simply cannot get enough of the new wedding trend of bows incorporated throughout and G+C hit it out of the park by adding a custom bow themed champagne bottle painted by Bess and Brush and acrylic bow drink toppers by Lujo Acrylics to their bar design. In lieu of traditional floral centerpieces, the couple went for a modern minimalist vibe with florals in an assortment of bud vases. Haute Poppies Floral designed the bud vases in varying heights to add depth to the tablescape but the simplicity of the florals allowed guests to see one another and converse across the family style tables, maintaining the intimate feel of the reception. Haute Poppies Floral added a touch of luxury by incorporating larger floral installs into the room such as the overhead greenery under the chandeliers and the stunning floral “cake meadow” to compliment the delicious cake designed and baked by Ruthi Hutson Cakes (which featured an oversized bow of course!) No timeless black and white wedding would be complete without a black and white checkered dance floor from Gracious Love Events. G+C took to the dance floor for the most dreamy first dance complete with cold sparks and the “dancing on the cloud” effect from Corona Entertainment. They danced the night away with their guests while sipping custom cocktails from Boozy Bar Dallas and created memories to last a lifetime in their luxurious feather-filled photo booth from Golden Memories TX.
It was a beautiful day celebrating a beautiful love. From the timeless black and white aesthetic to the beautiful modern touches they incorporated, this is a wedding day (and a kind of love) that’s never going out of style.
